Location:
Enter Highway#1, drive East, take #44 Exit. Go onto Highway 7B
(Mary Hill ByPass), drive North-east until you reach Lougheed
Highway #7. Turn right into Lougheed Highway #7, drive towards
the Maple Ridge direction until you reach Harris Rd. Turn right
at Harris Rd, drive North for 4 traffic lights until Ford Road.
Turn into Ford Road, drive for 4-5 minutes and reach Honeyland
Canada.

Age
Group:
Babies: Not appropriate, but fine if they tag along with other
kids.
Toddlers: If they are fascinated by bees might be ok, but be careful
of them around the bees as usually toddlers want to touch and
feel! They won’t understand all the discussions so maybe
the self free guided tour is best. Up to you!
Older children: This is gret for all children, if your child is
scared of bees maybe this tour will help lessen their fear. This
is fun and educational, what a neat, unique experience!

What
is there to Do and See?
We are located in the Greater Vancouver area, and we keep more
than 1000 colonies of bees! Our bees pollinate our own organic
blueberry farm and none-spray fruit orchards for the production
of pure and natural honey, pollen, royal jelly, propolis and more.
At Honeyland we offer interactive and educational, private and
public bee tours where kids and grown-ups will discover the marvelous
world of honeybees and modern bee-keeping. The breathtaking view
of the surrounding fields is a picture perfect way to relax and
enjoy your day.
Honeyland Canada provide numerous interactive workshops and beekeeping
courses, providing public knowledge about honeybee-keeping, bee
products, apitherapy and more.

Discover the
marvelous world of honeybees. Find out how honey is taken from
the bees, and where bee pollen, bee propolis and royal jelly come
from. Learn, have fun and take part in our raw honey tasting contest
and beeswax candle making!
Multi-media presentation featuring the life of honey bees in a
classroom that is perfect for group and school tours! Length:
20-30 min
Bee Hive Observation - Watch thousands of worker bees at the observation
hive. Large windows from the tour area provide a view of all parts
of the observation area.
For those who are afraid - don't worry, the bees are behind a
screen! Feeling adventurous? Dress up like a beekeeper and open
a hive! Very Exciting! 15-20 min
Royal Jelly, Bee Propolis... What is it? - In the manufacturing
area you will see where honey is extracted from the combs and
various products of the honeybee are produced, packaged and prepared
for visitors and store shelves. 15-20 min
Organic Blueberry - Take a Tour around the Organic Blueberry field
and learn about how Organic Blueberries are grown! (available
during blueberry season) 15 min. Taste over 10 delicious varieties
of Honey (Blueberry, Raspberry, Wildflowers and Many More!), pollen
and organic blueberry!
Learn and make candles out of beeswax! (optional, $2 additional
material fee/person) Bring your finished candle home with you!
BEE-fore you leave, visit Honeyland's Country Store where you
will find specialty bee products like honey, bee pollen, royal
jelly, beeswax candles, original bee products as well as beekeeping
supplies, and honey bee souvenirs. Don't forget to pick up some
delicious honey blueberry sorbetto at our concession stand!
Birthday parties:
We'll help you celebrate a birthday, or any other occasion! We
offer kids a creative place to discover and explore the marvelous
world of bees & honey! And when the sun is shining, kids can
jump around in our outdoor bouncy castle! Feel free to bring the
soccer ball and burn off the energy. From set-up to clean-up,
Honeyland will make this your easiest and most enjoyable party
