Information:
Our goal is to share the joy of raising these wonderful animals
and to demonstrate the many uses one can make of their fibre.
Stertling Farms specializes in raising animals with fine fleeces
– llamas, suri & huacaya alpacas & cashmere producing
goats. Come and meet the animals and see how the fleece is produced.

Babies: I am sure they will enjoy the surroundings, animals and
movement!
Older children: Great for them to learn about the animals, how
they provide fibre, this event can be fun and educational!

Wednesday & Sundays 12 – 4pm

What
is there to Do and See?
Come see the suri alpaca, a rare breed whuch makes up less than
1% of the world alpaca population. Suri fibre is scarce, unique
and therefore in high demand. Fleece, yarn and some finished garments
are for sale from all the fibre animals.
Sterling Farms specializes

New for 2007 is summer
children’s fibre arts programs and adventures. Some classes
will include Spanish lessons. Open July to December - Wed &
Sun (1-5). Also available by appointment.
Sterling Farms
also host the annual fibre show, Fibrefest International. In 2007
the show will again be held at Tradex, in Abbotsford, BC on May
